Load-Bearing Breakthrough Achieved! New Steel Reinforcing Mesh Withstands 5-Ton Impact for Mine and Construction

Recently, significant technological upgrades have been made to mine support mesh and construction steel reinforcing reber mesh, effectively solving the limitations of traditional low-carbon steel mesh in extreme working conditions such as deep mining and high-rise building construction. Unlike traditional steel reinforcing reber mesh made of 6–8mm low-carbon steel bars with common welding processes, the new-generation high-strength steel reinforcing reber mesh adopts HRB400 and above high-strength deformed steel bars as raw materials, whose yield strength reaches more than 400MPa, nearly 70% higher than ordinary Q235 steel bars.

Load-Bearing Breakthrough Achieved! New Steel Reinforcing Mesh Withstands 5-Ton Impact for Mine and Construction

Combined with cross-encrypted welding technology and prestressed tensioning technology, the new steel rebar mesh increases its impact resistance by more than 40% and can successfully withstand 5-ton impact loads under laboratory conditions. It has been practically applied in an 800-meter-deep coal mine roadway in Shanxi Province, effectively resisting impacts caused by rock stratum stress release, with the maximum single impact energy reaching 4.8 ton-meters, while the welded rebar mesh only produces elastic deformation within 3%.
